Pony Party

Emma had her first 'friend' birthday party this year. She decided she just wanted to invite a few girls from school, a few from church and some family friends. Somehow we avoided the Frozen themed party and Emma decided she wanted a Pony Party.  I jumped on the My Little Pony bandwagon and had finger nail painting, pin the tail on the pony and coloring pages. Emma's big surprise was we had a pony come to the house for the girls to ride.  Anyone here could see how excited Emma was when she saw that Pony in the backyard.  But alas, she did not want to ride it. I don't know if it was all the attention directed on her but she just decided she'd rather just look at the pony and pet her.  Most would consider this a party fail, but Emma still says her favorite part besides seeing all her friends at her house, was the seeing the pony. My sister was so helpful and got some great shots of people and details at the party.  Thank you Aunt Jamie for always catching photos when I don't.
