Here we are!!

It's our great pleasure to bring to you the inaugural Bruceville Post! We've been swinging around the idea of a blog for sometime now and have finally got it together. Well somewhat anyways.  As you can see we've gone with this whole 'town' theme and have conveniently borrowed the name from a little place between Waco and Temple on I-35. We're Bruces... what better name for our story than Bruceville!  And even better, this town travels where ever we go. 

I'm assuming that most of you reading this know us but we'll put the nice introductory photo up anyways. Sometime in April we handed over the camera to allow all 3 of us in the shot.  Unfortunately, we have yet to capture one of all 5 of us.  But Tyson and Maya are being good sports about it.

Our posts will be of random things, thoughts and events but most likely will center around our newest resident.  Over the past 7 months, of our lives have been radically changed in ways we did not expect (we were expecting lots of change).  And its all thanks to God's huge blessing of Emma Jane.  We look forward to sharing some of those things with you as we've had some time to reflect on them (and get some sleep).  But we also know that we have plenty more coming our way.  We hope this blog can help give our families and friends a little more of the details to the things, thoughts and events we encounter.  And of course, it will help us document them better.
